Recycling drive

April 2008

Wilton Centre Facilities Management has made a number of changes to prevent waste material being sent to landfill.

Last year, about 25 per cent of the waste material generated in the Wilton Centre was sent for recycling.

WCFM is now at the stage where assistance and co-operation is required from building tenants to increase this rate further.

F300 coffee point has been refurbished with the inclusion of a number of recycling receptacles for glass, plastic bottles and aluminium/steel cans. Items for recycling must be washed and clean before being placed in the appropriate receptacle.

If this trial at F300 is successful, similar recycling receptacles will be located at a number of coffee points throughout the main building.
