New look for coffee shop
October 2011
There are some exciting developments within the Catering Area at The Wilton Centre.
Taylor Shaw Catering has been revamping the Mocha Shop, providing new shelving and layout to accommodate the reintroduction of new grocery lines. The re-launch of the shop is pencilled in for 7th November.
Catering Manager Sean Wentworth said customers will no longer have to go to the supermarket if they have forgotten some everyday grocery items as they will be available from The Wilton Centre shop.
"We will be stocking a range of tinned goods, cereals, dairy products and some everyday cleaning items. We will also have regular special offers and meal deals," he added.
"And we will be selling distress items again such as painkillers, sore throat remedies and cold relief. We had to stop stocking these a couple of years ago because they became too expensive to buy in the quantities we needed but things have changed since then."
As well as ensuring that Centre staff remain healthy during the cold weather, the Catering team is also gearing up for the Winter season with Curry Week planned for November and Christmas lunches in December.
"We have a lot going on and plenty to look forward to," said Sean.
