Exciting Times Ahead As Company Moves In
August 2007

Cambridge Biopolymers Limited (CBP) has helped to strengthen its links with the North East by moving into the Wilton Centre.
The Cambridgeshire company was founded in 2000 by a group of senior managers from the research and manufacturing industry. Its mission has been to develop and commercialise bioresins and biopolymers, prepared from plant and vegetable oils, that can compete with the conventional materials manufactured from petrochemical sources.
To continue the development work, CBP will install a pilot facility at the Wilton Centre to prepare sufficient quantities of formulations to enable customers to complete their ongoing product evaluation, including full-scale factory trials.
The company, which moves onto site this month, says that the Wilton Centre provides much of the infrastructure necessary to help it achieve its development and commercialisation targets.
