DRD Consultants is one of the latest companies to move into the Wilton Centre.
The company was founded in 1988 and manages a network of highly experienced industry specialists working in the chemical and process engineering sectors.
Its areas of expertise range from research and technology to advising on safety and environmental management issues.
Consultants working for the company have undertaken conceptual studies and technology evaluation as well as detailed process design and commercial studies.
They have also built up a strong track record in providing assistance for companies involved in the design and commissioning of projects and solving operational problems.
DRD consultants have acted as expert witnesses and can carry out due diligence and benchmarking studies on behalf of companies seeking to purchase new business assets.
Its consultants have worked in countries all over the world and have taken part in a number of advanced manufacturing projects.
DRD and many of its consultants have extensive experience in helping companies improve the energy efficiency of their processes by the use of innovative techniques such as ORC (organic rankine cycle) technology to produce electricity from waste heat.
Another major area of expertise is safety work and DRD can carry out safety audits and assessments on new and existing processes, as well as process hazard reviews, COMAH reports, IPPC and environmental impact assessments.
