Successful plant start up

INVISTA Performance Technologies (IPT) and China Prosperity (Jiangyin) Petrochemical Co, Ltd (China Prosperity) have announced the start up of a new plant in China.
The companies confirmed the move at China Prosperity's 600,000 tonnes per annum PTA plant in the Shizhuang area, which uses INVISTA’s PTA process technology, provided to China Prosperity under a license agreement.
Mike Pickens, IPT general manager for INVISTA, which is one of the residents at The Wilton Centre, said: "The successful PTA plant start-up represents the latest milestone in our relationship with Jiangyin Chengxing Industrial Group, which stretches back over many years. We are very appreciative of the trust that Mr. Li and his team placed in INVISTA, recognizing that good plant performance is critical for our client’s return on investment."
Mr. Li Xing, chairman of China Prosperity, chairman and president of the board of Jiangyin Chengxing Industrial Group Co., Ltd, said, "We appreciate the technical support INVISTA provided to the China Prosperity PTA project.
