Around the Centre - Electric vehicle charging points

The contract has been signed to provide two standard charging posts in the Wilton Centre car parks. Each post has two charging outlets capable of charging a vehicle battery to 80% of its capacity in four to eight hours.
One post will be located in the visitor car park and one in the east resident car park. Capital funding for the project is being shared by One Northeast and the Wilton Centre landlord. An installation date is yet to be confirmed but it is expected to be completed within the next month or so.
