Residents at Wilton Centre contributed to the North East VW Club Easter egg collection for the benefit of children in Zoe's Place the children’s hospice in Middlesbrough.
A convoy of 30 classic VW camper vans and Beetles travelled from the start point in Thornaby to Zoe's Place to deliver the eggs. Every child received an Easter egg and the rest were raffled raising a total of £3,000 for the hospice. The Wilton Centre contribution to the collection was organised by Chris Wilkinson of Medacs Health Care who are residents of Wilton Centre.
