MMI Engineering Ltd, whose work is based around risk management, has opened a new office at The Wilton Centre.
The company provides technical consulting services and assists clients in the analysis, mitigation and management of risks posed by natural and man-made hazards in industries including oil & gas, nuclear, clean energy, utilities and infrastructure, security and defence, aerospace and insurance.
MMI Engineering Ltd provides solutions based on the application of engineering, science and technology using experience in design, construction, operations and project management. Its primary areas of practice include risk management, structural engineering, analysis & simulation, design & assessment, fluid mechanics and geotechnical engineering.
The company's staff come from engineering and scientific disciplines including structural, mechanical, civil, geotechnical, chemical and petroleum engineers as well as physicists, chemists, and mathematicians. Clients include Shell, BP, E.ON, Talisman Energy, Rolls-Royce, Airbus, AMEC, Centrica BG and the UK Health and Safety Executive.
Through MMI's parent company, Geosyntec, MMI also offers environmental services to businesses in the UK and Europe, including land remediation, quantification of environmental liabilities and geotechnical services to the chemical, pharmaceutical, power and oil and gas industries, along with developers of brownfield sites and law firms. The Teesside office at Wilton provides Geosyntec’s services in the UK.
