Medacs Healthcare introduce new Electronic Patient Management System
March 2010

Medacs Healthcare continues its investment in technology
The Occupational Health arm of Medacs Healthcare, based in F1 of The Wilton Centre, has launched an Electronic Patient Management System.
The system allows patients’ details to be securely accessed and managed electronically, providing quicker access to information on previous appointments, treatments and supporting documentation.
It also tracks patients through their life-cycle and can provide electronic invoicing for clients that require it.
Clients will also benefit from a more proactive approach to patient management, with future appointments and annual certification renewal prompts being automatically emailed.
This is the latest phase of investment in technology that has been introduced since Medacs Healthcare acquired Capita Health Solution’s Occupational Health business in September 2009, and follows a comprehensive overhaul of the IT infrastructure and phone system.
Since the acquisition, the company has gone from strength to strength and recently won contracts to provide Occupational Health services to Darlington Borough Council, Middlesbrough Borough Council and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.
