Roevin Engineering Recruitment has moved offices to the H2 corridor.

The larger offices are part of an expansion strategy which has seen Wilton chosen as the single location for Roevin’s North-East operations.

As part of the move, Roevin has invested in new IT and telecoms systems and taken on additional personnel for the company's white collar recruitment team.

The company has also opened a new Trades Personnel division in adjoining offices on H2, headed by Geoff Bennett.

Geoff joins from Aker Kvaerner, where he was responsible for all UK blue collar recruitment and his appointment is seen by Roevin as a major step forward in this vital area of business.

Phill Thomas, Operations Manager for Roevin, said: “The need for skilled trades personnel in many fields across the UK remains very strong and nowhere more so than in the North-East.

“We believe that the massive potential for new construction in the chemical and process industries, as identified by NEPIC, will result in a need for even more skilled and experienced personnel both white collar and trades.”

Roevin has an interactive internet database of more than 160,000 people and 14 UK and 11 overseas branches, providing engineering personnel on a temporary or permanent basis to clients in industries including chemicals, R&D, pharmaceuticals, biotech, and oil & gas.
