Stopford Projects Ltd has chosen The Wilton Centre as its office in the North-East. The new office will provide an ideal location because the company is already working with companies in the region's chemical industry.

Stopford is now seeking to forge strategic partnerships with other co-suppliers in the area.

The move to Wilton has been supported by the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) SME unit.

Stopford Projects Ltd is a multi-disciplined Process Engineering, Project Management and Design Consultancy, with its head office in Cheshire. It also provides consultancy in Safety, Health and Environmental issues.

Formed in 1982, it provides consultancy and process engineering services to the petrochemical, fine chemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear and related industries, from conceptual process analysis through to the detailed design and build of manufacturing plants.

The company offers the full service from concept and feasibility through to construction supervision and commissioning, and comprises a team of more than 60 specialists and engineers.

Its client portfolio includes many companies, from SMEs to multinationals such as AstraZeneca, Avecia, Shell UK, Unilever and GE Water Technologies.
